What began as a summer eatery has grown into a year ’round restaurant and one of Mount Gretna’s best kept secrets. The Timbers is suitable for all occasions, offering patrons comfortable dining, an intimate lounge, and private banquet facilities. We feature fireside dining in the cool months, outdoor summer dinner theatre, jazz nights and special holiday events. The Timbers is located in the beautiful woodlands of Mount Gretna, Pennsylvania, just one mile up Timber Road.
Enjoy one of over fifteen dinner choices from our seasonal menu, known for its top quality steaks and creative seafood, as well as chicken and veal dishes. Rachel adds her own unique flair to Chicken Kiev, Veal Scandinavian, Rack of Lamb, Clams Casino and Kahlua Flan. A popular feature is our daily chef special, which includes a choice of appetizer, entree, salad, vegetable, potato, dessert, and coffee. Gracious portions are all inclusive at only $17.50. Melt away the winter blues with our original “Lite Fare” menu of pastas, healthy salads, a variety of platters and sandwiches, diet friendly items, wines and spirits, all at a reasonable price. In July, the summer theatre fun begins with SWEET MEMORIES, a Timbers musical revue. This show is a salute to the 60's groups that started in the soda shops around the corner and went on to hit the top of the charts. While serving up a lot of laughs, fun will be had at the “Timbers Tin Roof Malt Shop” as we journey to number one. Celebrate with us a taste of America’s musical traditions and capture the spirit of its rich history. Take a front row seat while we stroll down a musical lane of tunes that will bring you SWEET MEMORIES of days past.
Universal Studios’ Sharon Bruce Miller is combining her talents along with Timber’s musical director Andy Roberts, in this uniquely written tribute. The main auditions for the show will be held in Florida, Ohio, and New York by the Timbers casting crew. Don’t let this opportunity for fun pass you by. Reserving is easy. Shows are Tuesday through Saturday evenings, with Wednesday and select Saturday matinees.
